1. In AD, connect to Workspace A
2. Open project in AD
3. Right click on project in “Projects” panel, and select “Project Options”
4. In the “General” tab, select “Turn Off Synchronization”, and “Unlink”, then click OK
5. Connect to Workspace B
6. Right click on project in “Projects” panel and select “Make Project Available Online”
7. If asked to save project, click “Ok”
8. To avoid issues, do not rename the project in the “Make Available Online” dialog box
9. Click “Ok”
10. If you see “Project was released to a different server before, do you want to continue and clear links to that server?”, click “Ok”
11. The project is now copied to Workspace B, but at this point the components are still associated with Workspace A
12. Open any schematic document from the project
13. In the “Design” menu, click “Make Integrated Library” and select a local location to save the resulting .IntLib file
14. Keep an eye on the progress bar in the bottom left of AD.
15. Once it’s finished, in the “File” menu open “Library Importer”
16. Click the “+ Library” button in the top left
17. Select the .IntLib file
18. Click “Import >>” in the top right
19. The components are now in Workspace B, but the project is still using the copies from Workspace A.
20. From the “Tools” menu, open “Item Manager"
21. Click the “Automatch” button
22. Click “Ok”
23. Click “Generate ECO”
24. Click “Execute Changes”
NOTE: It is important to ensure the components have the MANUFACTURER PART NUMBER and the MANUFACTURER part choices mapped during the library migration.
