Getting an Access Token

Step 1: Sign into portal.nexar.com

Step 2: Choosing an application

Your application will need to use the design scope. The design scope allows you to query your workspace. Whereas the supply scope allows you to query for components offered by suppliers. To check this, above the "details" button on your application you want to use, there should be a small box with "design" inside. Unfortunately you cannot change the scope after making an application so it must already have the design scope from creation.

Next, click on "details" for the application you want to use. 

Step 3: Getting an Access Token

Once you have entered your application, go across to the "Authorization" tab.

Then click "Generate token".

The access token will then be generated in the box above the "Generate token" button.

You are also able to copy the token by pressing the copy icon. The token can be used for any GraphQL client to query the API.
